When I was 8 my big sister taught us how to make newspaper shoes. It very easy and fun for you to do with your kids. This is also a good way to put those extra newspapers to good use.
How to roll your Newspapers

You will need:
Any old newspapers( comics make them more colorful)
Tape
Steps:
- Gather up all your old newspapers.
- Start by rolling up your first sheet of newspaper. (Look at picture above) When it's all rolled up, tape it together to form a long strip of newspaper.
- Make about 10 more newspaper rolls or more if you have a larger foot.
- Tape all the newspaper rolls together at the ends so you have a very long strip.
- Start rolling the long roll in a spiral shape until you are done. Tape it together.
- Make 1 more newspaper roll and tape it a little more than half way up your shoe. That's the top of your shoe.
- Decorate your shoe if you would like to, but you don't have to.
- Repeat all the above steps and make an identical shoe. Put on your shoes and be stylish!
*Shoes are a bit slippery if you have wood floors*
