Due to the fact that KFC wasn't prepared for the high demand they are issuing rainchecks. Yes they will no longer accept you coupons for a free meal. I knew at some point we would endure some issues but this one is far worse.
When you go to KFC you will be given a form to fill out to get a raincheck for your free meal, which now includes a free Pepsi. You must attatch your original coupon with the for to get the offer. But if you want a free meal and you have a El Pollo Loco near by, take you KFC coupon to their restuarant on Mother's Day to get your free meal. For more info on this visit Common Sense with Money.

What a nightmare it was to find this out...we tried to go there last night and the parking lot was packed. We finally get in only to find out they're not taking them. Did they seriously not see this happening? Duh.
And would you believe the girl behind the register told us that we could fill the form out, mail it in and KFC would deliver the meal to our house like meals on wheels? Poor kid.
They said we could fill them out and they'd mail them in...oh, yea. Right into the trash can, I'm sure. :)
